Maybe so -- but did Vic Viloria run faster than that? Or Craig Swann? Or Jason Simonton? Or Zach Thomas, for that matter? Seems to me there are a bunch of inside LBs who aren't necessarily sprinters, but if they're smart players and in the right spot and have quick acceleration (even if not the fastest top speed), they can make a bunch of plays.
Anyone hear anything new on this guy?
also keep in mind stats are exadurated (spelling). when i coached at florida state all football stats were exadurated..4.7 40 times really ment 4.9.....255lb really ment 245lb..........so dont get excited about stats..look at the players ability and how smart he plays over stats

without a doubt almost universally in the former days that was true about almost every single recruiting list published. At least now many kids go to camps in which there is at least an attempt to get accurate info. But its still almost always true about the unverified heights of players who don't go to camps. Heck the SMU Sports Department regularly inflates the size of its players. Many of the sizes listed in their publications are also the unverified exaggerrated recruiting sizes and unverified. Either that or they are measuring these kids with sports shoes on which will add a good inch or so at least.
college dont post what high school kids stats are...colleges exadurate stats....they might have a kid clocked at a 4.9 40 time but will tell the papers they clocked him at a 4.6 or 4.7........having worked with college kids at the highest levels i can tell you that i have only met one kid that his stats were not exadurated.........dont belive what you read in the papers or what coaches say........at FSU we posted in the papers that all linemen benched over 500 lbs..which is far from the truth..most only did 405......but its a mental thing.....this camps that kids go to in college are so coaches can evaluate high school players..problem is there are so many great high school kids that cant afford these camps...
stay low boys...keep those feet moving....be perfect.........
yeah I'm not talking about college camps-I'm talking about independent camps such as Rivals and Nike-all that info is published. But again that's a snapshot on a single day and doesn't account for natural growth and improvement or particular reasons which may make those stats questionable such as injuries.
