SMU Football twitter finally reaches 10K followers

Sitting at 10.1K right now. Kind of sad, but last week it was still 9K and change. I guess our game with TCU probably helped.

I know it's kind of silly, but it's all about awareness. Baby steps....

For comparison, Chad has 27.4K followers

I think the more important thing is to get SMU people to follow the SMU football account.

I am kind of surprised it is this low in all honesty.

I think it's pretty cool to see the tweets getting 300-400+ likes and retweets. Last year it was in the dozens at best.

The @SMU_Football account joined twitter June 2011 btw.

Still, four years. LB had to be taught Twitter (and uses it well). Morris is the first SMU employee to embrace it.
