I strongly disagree with 94 on this but he bestowed the 2005 Rookie of the Year award on me (retroactively, like 7 years later) so he's ok in my book

Oh my, that's just rich. That's *exactly* what 94 was doing: If CJ doesn't think the same way as I do, stay away. Wow, some liberals sure are mightly illiberal.

The source of the vast majority of the TCU hate stems directly from James rating their non-BCS teams low in the BCS rankings which makes their complaints infantile-that's what he's paid to do. He's pissed off a lot of fan bases over the years because he was never afraid to state a strong opinion. Kind of like Howard Cossell who is considered one of the greats in broadcasting. The majority of other people that hate Craig James stems from the Mike Leach episode where a College Head coach used his bully pulpit to rally anger from a homer, rabid fan base toward one of their own 19 year old college students. What a class guy. Glad he went 0-3 in the Courtroom and paid a small fortune to his attorneys whose legal arguments bordered on frivolous. A very small minority of the people that hate Craig James do so because of his Senate candidacy-although I probably disagreed with just about everything coming out of his mouth. Criticism of a politician's political views is fair game-just not really appropriate for the message board of his alma mater when he is an All-Time Great.

So pretty much everyone hates Craig James........ except a few hardcore SMU football fans fondly remembering the death penalty days, and current members of the 'Family Research Council'.

Seems many of your post have an angry tone to them. That's what I was referring to. You don't need to answer if you chose not too. I'm not trying to mean, it's just an observation

Well apparently the person that actually knows him says he admires his sons play so I'm thinking it's not the QB that's never played
