Does UConn have the best defense in the AAC?

Postby LA_Mustang » Thu Sep 24, 2015 10:25 pm

They shutdown a supposed good SEC offense in Missouri. I haven't seen another AAC defense slow anyone down.

UConn is OK but that Mizzou team is no offensive juggernaut. My money is b on Temple. A mobile qb and out newly developed running game will help against these defensive minded teams.

I was disappointed in Temple last weekend against UMass but their D played okay. They allowed 183 total yards to Penn St. That is impressive. They also held Cincy under 300 total yards.

The AAC has definitely upped their ante this year as most teams are showing well early.

AAC West has the potential to really close the gap on even some P5 conferences-namely the ACC. We are in a pretty good Division it appears

Apparently you didn't see their game this past weekend against oklahoma? 600+ yards of offense, Good QB, RB, and 3 very good & experienced receivers. No defense though. Very similar team to us actually.

Pick em' game, only advantage is we're at home.

But yes, Tulsa is definitely getting better. They made a good hire. Its nice to see several teams from our conference on the upswing.

Tulane won easily last week. They aren't that bad at least for the bottom of the Division

Tulsa always makes great hires. Well, except for dean

They are good at Deans. Not so good on Presidents.
