Has anything changed regarding parking in the neighborhoods for the games? Ran into a few NTSU fans last home game who said they were towed.

Park at mockingbird station. ya i've always found the neighborhoods off limits, unless you want to be towed (seen it too many times to risk it)

I wouldn't even think of parking south of Mockingbird anymore. I really hate those people.

Ive been told there is an are you can park if it is the North side of the street. If it is a grey area then might as well not chance it.

How can they "legally" tow when the streets are public property? I can understand in their yard but streets?

When a neighbor has a party people park on streets and they're not towed. Should they start towing them?

They put no parking signs up on one side of each street for game days. I think it is a city ordinance. Ridiculous in my mind.

I always park south of Mockingbird and have never been towed. There are signs everywhere - you are only able to park on one side. Just obey the signs and you will be okay. Maybe a disgruntled neighbor can have you towed but I doubt it since the street is public.

OK. That makes sense if they are just limiting it to one side. I think some of the blocks might have resident only sticker requirements as well.

This is how I have always understood it. Never asked them which side of the street the parked on.

I don't understand why people think they should be able to park on neighborhood streets for a football game. In the heart of Dallas, do people really think they'll just be able to parallel park in front of some house and walk a few blocks to the stadium? If you can afford a ticket, you can afford to pay to park. Or TAKE DART. It ain't hard.

They think that because it is a public street and does not belong to the homeowner. If there is a city sign then that is different of course.

I personally don't believe we should be allowed to. Especially with the dart and express towers parking lots free. However, when I invite friends I direct them to park in the neighborhoods because its the easiest directions to follow.

Also, without the neighborhood what is our total parking capacity with dart and express towers included? Just curious

I have to deal with everyone parking in front of my house to take their kid to school every day. They can deal with parking for football a few weekends per year. It's not like anyone in the park cities has a 1 car driveway and a garage conversion
