Not sure what defense we are playing with not one person in the middle of the field. Inside linebackers were on the line, corners and safeties were out wide. Not one single defender in the middle 30 yards of the field for the last 3 plays. For those defensive formations we wasted 2 time outs. Staff needs to review their poor coaching on this one.

No excuse for a defensive performance like that. If you score 45 at home you should win. We have been giving up almost 700 yards per game which is just unacceptable no matter what the talent like level is.

It wasn't just the last drive. Shaq splits wide on one side. Yenga doesn't take on blockers, ever. He runs around players. So it leaves huge gaps on his side. And then Horton just hides behind people. he is completely not involved, and misreads the direction of the run pretty much every play.

It isn't like they have blockers hitting the second level. The back is running through and there literally is NO second level.

Not having Wood was big in the game, but our biggest problems are at LB and safety

June recruited a lot of players like himself... Interested in getting as much as possible doing as little as possible.

Some of this is clearly on the defensive coaches, but we don't have the personnel to even hang with an FCS team. It's going to be a long road back... Again.
