Horribly coached game.

Postby vielsiehorsepower » Sat Sep 26, 2015 9:53 pm

Morris got flat out coached. Horrible use of time outs on defense and absolutely terrible clock management on offense. You've got first and goal with 3 minutes left and your defense is getting shredded and you're running hurry up? What a joke.

All in all an exciting game but absolutely no reason we should have lost.

I just don't understand how you don't account for their ONE weapon on offense. Put a spy on him. Do something at least. 276 rushing yards by a QB is just sad. Bad coaching.

Yeah - seems like we could have accounted for Vag Lee a bit better since we knew he was the guy coming in.

Lack of talent has a way of making coaches look stupid and out coached. JMU has some talent and it very well coached. We had out Sr. captain best D lineman on the sidelines the entire game. Best D lineman and leadership and lack of depth is a huge problem for our D line. young players take bad angles on D and the was evident all night long. And we continue to lose contain. It all adds up. I would go too ballistic on the coaches just yet.

Ron Meyer last in his second year to ta D II team (NTSU back then). The next year he went 1-1-1 against Florida, Penn state and Ohio state. It takes time.

OMG did they. At times it seemed like they knew exactly what we were going to do and smashed thru and tackled our guy instantly. Talk about our lines on both sides of the ball being man handled. Very frustrating. And what is up with whoever runs the game clock?

We need to cut the scholarships for the useless defense and just go get walk-ons (this is rant not too serious). I wish the coach told the offense particularly Matt that is the time is later than one minute don't score. Get us as close to the end zone and burn time and if we get to fourth down then kick a field goal and go into overtime.

Natives are already restless with a 3 point loss to a team with about equal ranking :!:

It's getting very tiresome for an old fart to defend incumbent coaches against IDYUTS,
and RASS ROLLS :!: :!:

See my prediction submitted several months ago below:
May the forth be with us.

Losing Wood was huge, but this was LB and Safety play, not the D Line. We are absolutely desperate at MLB. We tried playing Tui because he was actually taking on blockers and trying to be physical, but he got killed on that one pass over the middle to the TE that made it 41-31.

Ponyte is right in that talent makes coaches look better (or worse), we have a few good players then a massive drop off in talent. No depth because of no recruiting. But HCCM is recruiting hard and will get it turned around. The coaches told us to lower our expectations but some did not hence.

I'm laughing my [deleted] off about how stupid some of you are going to look in 3 years. Carry on dumbasses. Yeah which bowl game did you think we were going to this year.
