http://collegefootball.ap.org/pollBoth Houston and Memphis are in the Receiving Votes category. Could have two AAC teams crack the polls potentially. Toledo and Boise also G5 teams receiving votes.

As well as Navy and Temple, but both play ND later this year. Houstons probably got the best shot to run the table.

Haven't kept up with Houston.. Is Herman playing a bunch of true freshmen like Morris is or does he have some good talent from the previous staff?

I have no idea. I listened to them on the radio and the announcers could not keep up with the tempo of their play against Louisville. With our secondary and linebackers, it could be a long night.

Looking forward to Morris and Herman going at it - hopefully more than just a few times! We had a great crowd of ~36,000 against tx state and we were treated to a clinic against coach Fran! Hope to see y'all in force on the 8th... Lb Tulsa and beat Ecu! http://youtu.be/3zC4H6znezM

Conference mates used to beg Memphis to improve their football. After last year, they hope we fall flat on our face. Memphis vs Errbody
No, after you starting being a disrepectful troll [deleted] everyone started hoping Memphis falls flay on their face. Get down off your podium, you're only 2 years removed from being SMU's [deleted] in football.

We need to pull for these teams when we aren't playing them.... A strong AAC helps us all.
Stop worrying about who gets what first and just get better. We're going to struggle against these teams no matter what this year. We'll be competing with them soon.
And Memphis will probably suck again by then.

Houston was a bowl team last season that underperformed. Add some good frosh and clean up execution and you have a pretty good football team. They will be a 10 win team this season.
