ok - agreed - good point. Just think asking SMU to apologize and the 100th pricing [deleted] session is sort of a stupid thing for an SMU fan to say a few hours after this bomb, so yeah it ticks me off.

On to the real culprit - NCAA. Our usual nemesis.

This...and let's not jump on eviscerating every other school's fan who comes on here to say "that sucks" because their school cheated too. Direct that anger and animosity at the NCAA and the media like Dickie V who see this as a chance to beat us down.

Actually LA I think SMU owes an apology for its lack of oversight of the JJ dumpster fire, and as you know I have been labeled a June Supporter. Were we in olden times I would be recognizable by the "J" branded on my right cheek.

SMU knew Larry lied to the NCAA and they knew someone told an employee to take a course for KF. The sanctions may well be overly harsh and I think they punish all the wrong people but SMU engaged in the mother of all cash grabs while all this was going on. And they didn't do the right thing.

This is all (football and basketball) a failure by SMU to run their house properly. At least the players get a free education. This has cost the fans money.

And I don't mean to gloat but I effing called this when they hiked the ticket price.

I'm just pissed that the NCAA is so hypocritical. EVERY school commits violations and everyone knows it. You have to if you want to survive. Most of the bigger P5 schools have the system set up where they can get away with it. For whatever reason, when SMU plays the game we get hammered.

As for raising the ticket prices, any other school would've done the same. Maybe it could've been handled a little better but you can't blame SMU for that.
