Geesh, there are a lot of [deleted] on this board. The bottom line is that one person screwed up and that person is gone (fired by SMU). SMU will appeal pushing the ban to NEXT season, Nic and MK stay and we have another great season with a nice post season run. THEN, if we fail on the appeal, we don't go postseason next year (can still win the conf and conf tourney and recruit like hell for 2017). LB stays through the next 2 seasons and gets this thing back on track before heading into the sunset.

It hurts right now (yes the NCAA are biggest thugs/hypocrites in the world, I HATE those frackers) and the schollies hurt more than one post season ban (potentially). But pony up, lock arms, and beat ECU!

It's too bad his son isn't any good. One think you would care about the place that is giving his son a $200K+ education for not doing much more than being on the scout team.

Well, if Larry had a hard time getting a job before interviewing at SMU then he's gonna be coaching a YMCA kids team if he leaves us now. Nobody will touch him.

Larry has to decide what he wants. If he wants to be a basketball coach then he is going to have to be SMU's coach. The NBA isn't going to call, and no college is going to touch him now, even IF they would have before.
