We must remember Syracuse transgressions happened ofer a decade. The NCAA in their official findings stated leniency because most of the violations occured before the change. The NCAA changed their stands on violations and enforcement about 3 years ago.

I believe it was assumed Syracuse would have gotten twice the official sanctions

Id argue less than ours. A few more scholarship sanctions but they self imposed an NCAA ban in a year they sucked and it was accepted
