Looks like most of the voting was done based on last year's performance, in which case I'm a little surprised that Alvin Nnabuife didn't get on there. His junior season was his best.

Greetings from smoggy and cold southern California. Two hours until my next In and Out burger.

Compared to the WAC, I love the C-USA awards process. Anybody remember last year when Nnubiefe (sp) scored two touchdowns and didn't get defensive player of the week? Also, recall that last year, SMU didn't have one member of any WAC all conference team, which was patently ridiculous.

Bottom line is that except for Henderson, none of our players led the conference in any statistical category. That is going to make a difference in the process. And Henderson got robbed on the 1st team award. So did Nnubiefe (sp) by not getting any recognition.
