I wanted Ranger Stadium to be in Downtown Dallas then, and still do...
And With a retractable roof, which is much more feasible now than it was 20 plus years ago.

Me, plus my son and nephew.

I took my 12 year old to NTSU game and he said he finally really enjoyed an SMU football game.

I have been bringing my 17 yr old nephew to games for last 4 or 5 years.
He used to be a huge Longhorn fan, and I have done a good job of converting him to smu. He is a huge sports fan, and follows smu very closely .He has been travelling and visiting schools for last year, deciding shortly on where to attend college.
Smu was in the running..., until this week. I have told him I understand,..
I don't enjoy getting kicked in the balls every time I turn around, but it's in my blood.

The Rangers will be in the downtown vicinity within 8 years Mark it down. It will be announced in the next 3-4 years. Done Deal. Either Reunion site (I don't think so) or South Lamar/Rock Island/Cedars area with access to transit and CBD and room for parking.

I agree, Southside is a perfect spot, as it was(Southside/Farmers MKt ) 25 years ago.

Farmers market is not as attractive. Lots of development already in place and not as much access to transit or parking. West of south side is the play. Or if the hunts get their way, Reunion. Either way, west side is way more attractive than east or CBD.

I loved the comment on the d magazine article about razing old town and putting it there. I give them credit for thinking outside the box but that is never happening.

While his former team has Gameday and Sportscenter broadcasting outside the stadium and a sellout crowd.

These are the same rules as Price is Right, correct?

I'm guessing 1, so I will win when if everyone else goes over...

Agree, I was just saying Farmers Market was option 25 years ago, but Southside is today
