Re: Louisville Allegations
WAC '96 was ahead of its time. Shake It Off Moody
Re: Louisville Allegations
How is this epic? This is par for the course at any good basketball school. I'm not even kidding. Hell, Jalen Rose has alluded to it in a podcast during his time of being a recruit for crying out loud. It may seem like a big deal but ask anyone that is close to any good basketball program if this [deleted] happens regularly and it will be a resounding yes.
Re: Louisville Allegations
And that argument worked so well for us
Re: Louisville AllegationsGirls are icky. Violation
Re: Louisville Allegations
We are all now....seriously, what type of argument is that? While crap does happen all the time, and twice on SEC day, it changes when you get caught. We know that very well. You can't buy hookers for recruits or players. That is why those SEC schools have their student booster groups whose females "escort" recruits around campus on visits.
Re: Louisville AllegationsLouisville just hired former NCAA investigator to work their case and defend the program. Seems like a good idea to me...

Re: Louisville AllegationsDoing stuff iz hard. Who did we hire? KF's gf?
Re: Louisville Allegations
Unfortunately we hired a SMU employee
Re: Louisville AllegationsWe should have hired Sean Connery...
They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That's* the *Chicago* way! ![]() "Moral Victories Make Me Sick" - TR

Re: Louisville AllegationsTwitter indicates OTL groupies are already excusing Pitino because he couldn't have known about it. Getting steep and deep in here!
Re: Louisville AllegationsNew denial quote below from Pitino. Seems like to me he is digging himself a deeper hole. How can he possibly assert that "not one player knew anything"? That is absurdly unbelievable. When recruits are on official visits, they are ALWAYS hosted by existing team members, usually the younger guys on the team get the job of hosting recruits on visits:
"Not myself, not one player, not one trainer, not one assistant, not one person knew anything about any of this," the Hall of Fame coach told ESPN on Monday. "If anyone did, it would have been stopped on a dime. Not one person knew anything about it." Katina Powell, who wrote the book "Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen," told IBJ.com on Saturday that McGee implied that Pitino "knows about everything." "When I would ask Andre, 'Does Pitino know about this?' he would laugh and say, 'Rick knows about everything,'" Powell told IBJ.com, which is a subsidiary of the company that published the book.
Re: Louisville AllegationsBut if every player sticks to their story......then Pitino is right. Unless there is a smoking gun.
Re: Louisville AllegationsPitino don't need no hookers. He just needs an Applebee's.
