Did we ever find out what happened to him? I was about to gig him about Hopkins' importance to this team until I remembered...

There was an obituary that someone listed on Ponyfans of a long time follower of SMU. That obit was just a few days after the last post from Old Pony and I was wondering at that time if they might have been one and the same. Do not know if we will ever know unless he surfaces again.

I miss debating about BHop with that old coot too. Hope he is ok, but its been too long since he surfaced for it not to be something. I seem to remember that he was living in Kansas and following the Mustangs from a distance. I dont think he was local or highly involved.

That's awful. I just assumed he changed handles like the rest of you guys. I guess that last post-and I mean this in the very best way- was his version of George Gipp's "Win Just One More for the Gipper" speech. And I guess its fitting that SMU did.

I do remember the post but I do not remember the game or situation. Can anyone remind me as to the reference. I am unable to use the search bar to find anything on this site.
