Absolutely. We have been on probation a half dozen times in the last 45 years. The only time the NCAA let up was when our program was completely moribund. All we had to do was show signs of life in basketball and they (NCAA) over reach again because they always have in the past and we always stand there and let the bullies be bullies. We are easy marks for the NCAA and it should stop.

That would be your fearless (fearful) leader, RGT. There is no stomach at SMU to fight this on any front, other than to possibly appeal/plead Bryson's situation. Indeed, there is a reason why this whole matter has been handled in-house. We were always going to take this lying down.

Wrong. It can get worse. We appeal and lose. The process takes 18 months which kills 2 more recruiting classes with all of this lingering. Larry is then 80.

Yes, we are going to have top 20 recruiting classes if we do not appeal (sarcasm). The best chance SMU might ever have to win the NCAA tournament is this year. We need to do everything we can to get this team to tournament this season.
