Ponies down 34-33 at half after leading the game until the last minute. Texas State went on a long scoring run at the end of the half. No defense.

granted, it's Texas State...but it is a road game and I like the fact we are seeing more balanced scoring from this team. 4 guys in double figures. Also like the assist:turnover ratio at 2:1 and the fact we've handed out 19 assists. Haven't seen that kind of teamwork in recent years. Also like seeing those 6 steals but would love to see double figures in that category. Oh...and 9 boards for Morris in only 20 minutes. If he keeps working hard, this guy might turn out to be a real find.

Mavs up by 1pt. 51-50.

Morris seemed to see the court pretty well against Toledo. SMU has had "limited vision" in recent years and finding the open man.

A 78-67 road win. Roberts leads Pony scoring with I believe 20. A very agressive 2nd half by the Ponies.

Road wins are important, and it's encouraging to see that the Ponies made free throws tonight. That's a far cry from their shooting at the line the tried against Toledo.

There is no doubt that the biggest positive to come out of this game is going 18-19 from the FT line.
