TCU's Boykin was on a 28 game no pick streak and SMU ended that this year. Historic stats are almost meaningless in a 'rivalry' game.

Ugly unless Malone can at least get his guys lined up correctly, recognizing formations/tendencies, and carrying out their assignments. If Herman has stayed true to his Ohio State scheme, they are just going to run the ball and read option us to death until we load the box to stop the run. Interested to see if Malone tries to at least take their primary option away, or sits in his base 4-2-5 and gets gouged by both the run and the pass.

So what was the real stat you were trying to point out? Per ESPN's game log, it looks like he was on a 6 game streak of throwing at least 1 INT per game. Am I missing something?

45-42, good guys. This week Hedlund hits a game winning field goal with 1:30 left and our Defense finds a way to hold on.

63-28 UH. Herman will run up the score "for recruiting and rivalry purposes". Get your licks in now while you can, slurpee boys!

My guess is he was thinking about the TCU takeaway streak, which I believe was 27 straight games, the longest in the nation. It had nothing to do with Boykin.

Thanks. All streaks must end. In the past couple of years, UH had a streak of about 12 games with at least 2 takeaways. It was an amazing ride, but it ended.

Yeah, streaks always continue until they end. It is the same for ours. SMU 48, Houston 45 Ponies forced to sweat the final UH drive that ends with a missed FG since we went for two on a swinging gate on our first TD.
