By the way, you could market your sons gift. The bench warmer... could use one for my seats come November. That and I'd like to get a head. Hahaha

We do, and we have a lot more coming. However, most of the PF energy was being spent elsewhere. Don't need duplicate threads. Reevaluated and figured it was a duplicate concern across multiple threads.

Many drinks have been had tonight :)

I didn't want Mason to take over either. But the situation we find ourselves in is not purely June. The university and athletic department in particular oversaw the demise of our football program despite the fact that they should have been well aware of the risks of hiring someone like June. We all supported the idea. Blame June all you want but the people who watched it happen are all still there.

They all share in the blame but the leadership and recruiting strategy (or total lack thereof) starts with the head coach. June didn't hold his assistants accountable and the results speak for themselves.

June didn't hold his assistants accountable, LOL

A hard-working assistant would have made tiki tired and created too much work.

Convinced he brought in his 'system' guys.

Well one good thing is that Coach Morris now see as the year goes on what specific areas that he needs to recruit.

What the heck does this mean. Everything was at least decent until June's agent blew his chances at the ASU job and he retired to the golf course. How is that SMU administration's fault other than they should have gotten rid of the SOB after he lied about what he was doing behind SMU's back.

I am 1000% HCCM. Dont get me wrong. My thread was going to be more about patience. Help is coming, we have the right guy, we are competitive with next to nothing, etc

I think that's a lot of it. We should have fired June after the ASU debacle. We certainly should have watched what he was doing very closely. No oversight and deteriorating ratings of our recruits should have resulted in his being fired but no, the school begged him to come back after GG left. The fact that he quit shows how badly the ad handled him. June came here and announced that his recruiting strategy was to let kids send him tapes. It's not like we weren't warned....
