Is it quit or just failure? There's a difference between being burned out and having nothing left to give and giving up.

I didn't watch the game, I had an engagement to attend but that was pretty much the gist I got from the other games so I figured it'd apply to this

That is wrong: we out scored UNT 24 -3 in the second half, we tied with JMU in the second half, and out scored TCU 17-14 in the 3rd quarter before being blown out in the 4th quarter. So no we haven't been "blown out every second half this year". But thanks for the effort.

You win; we're competitive in the second  apparently uncomfortable with use of hyperbole, probably Biblical literalist

I don't think i would call it "quitting"... I think there was a certain Chad Morris high going around for the first few weeks. And teams didn't know what to expect against Morris, now they have seen video and Coach their team around what Morris has been doing. Our biggest strength going in to the season was essentially an element of surprise.

we had some moments last night where I saw very little fight in our defensive secondary...especially on run support. Lot's of work ahead to get this roster upgraded...but back to the topic of this thread; you are absolutely right. Defense had it's moments last night but offense did nothing to help in 2nd half
