OT: Nevada Beats KU

Postby MustangSally » Fri Dec 02, 2005 12:21 am

Caught the end of the Nevada-Kansas game AT KU. Nevada won I believe 72-70. They have come a long way in a few years. I remember 5-6 years ago it seemed like they'd forever be in the shadows of UNLV but now they've got quite a team even after Kirk Snyder has gone. Good for them, glad we don't have to play them this year.

By the way, did anyone see the end of the game? KU took the ball down court, tossed it up a few times, none went in and time expired. The KU coaching staff went nuts, I guess they thought there must have been a foul in there somewhere. Anyways, it showed a Nevada player, maybe Fazekas, shaking hands with the other players, and he was talking to one of the KU coaches. I don't know if he was smarting off, or the KU guy was just pissed, but I swear I saw the coach turn to the Nevada player and say "hey F*CK YOU" and then storm off. Anyone else catch that? KU isn't the powerhouse they believe they deserve to be anymore, I guess there's a little frustration there.
