Nobody is making racist comments against UH on this board. This board is full of disparaging contents about the income and net worth of UofH grads of all races.

Let me get this straight, a first time poster comes on to this message board, claims he/she helps guide perspective high school students and their families during the recruiting process. Then makes judgements on the school based on what they read on a message board that is not connected to a school in any official capacity? Then claims they will be speaking to the coaches about what is posted? If that is the case then I guess none of these kids you "help" will be going to any school based on what you read on the message boards of each individual school.

No let me get this straight, not ONE time did any poster address ANY of the bigoted comments that I've seen all week but conveniently you all have a problem when myself or someone else calls it out?
I suddenly feel no urge to even bring this to your school's attention. You guys can hang your own program. In the meantime I'll make sure I inform black families what they're really dealing with behind the smiling faces.

Be sure to tell them the only racist comments have been made by a Houston supporter posting on our site. Which I assume you are also.

Get over yourself. This board is so heavily censored and monitored it might as well be operated by a Chinese government official. Oops! I just said something racist based on your standards.

I flagged the [deleted] post. Other than that, go ahead and imbed some screenshots if you please. Otherwise, #ByeFelicia.

SJW mindset: Criticism is harassment, facts are bigoted, pointing out crime is racist.

I regularly speak with recruits and their parents about the recruiting process and what things to look for (and to put it bluntly, things black families need to look out for) during the recruiting phase.
Im not from Texas but since I've been here I've heard a lot of things posted throughout the past week whether it be the crime around Houston or the perceived racism/classism from SMU. However, there are some things that you either have to experience in person to understand. Then on the flip side you have people that are more honest in their opinions online.
I've been to the Houston campus twice in the past few years and it didn't live up to the "danger" hype if you will. Ive also been to the SMU campus many more times and didn't get the racism vibes.
I say all of that to say that this week was the first time I read both team boards (this and coogfans fwiw) and I'm kind of stunned at what I've read here. I've personally vouched for SMU to many families and now I'm questioning myself and wondering if I've been making mistakes. I've read way too many coded insults and even a few blatantly racist posts over this past week on this board. There was one thread that pretty much only said "F the [deleted]" and not only was it left up for hours but not one person that posted afterwards seemed to have a problem with it.
I have taken more screenshots than I can count as proof. While I'm unsure as to whether I will officially contact the SMU athletic department about the poor reflection this website is making on the university I will absolutely speak with a couple of the coaches on your staff when I see them again. More importantly I want to thank some of you for opening my eyes and consequently the eyes of the recruits/parents that I show this to.
The guy who said f the [deleted] is an idiot and was called out as such, but good job defending your bias, idiot.

Honestly the culture on here is more indicative of 50+ conservatives than the general student body of SMU

Anyone that judges SMU based on what gets posted on this board is too stupid to be alive.

Oh yeah let's judge SMU by what Moron SWC whatever his name was posted bull shi....t lies about things he alleged coaches said. No one said anything to the "F the [deleted]" comment because you just don't feed trolls. But we get it. We have our fair share of Johnny Utah, Cougar King, FootballDad, Feel the horsepower, Blackoutpony and more in this board so it was business as usual when that swc moron posted

Now see, that is a racist statement. Learn from your fellow Cougar Cargo.
Just using a term started by SMU fans which was still in use when I graduated in the early 90s.
