We are learning quickly that the first three games were huge teasers to the fanbase.
Seeing lots of improvement but we are quickly realizing this team is just not that good. Our defense is awful. Our offense stalls in the second half.
Things are falling back to normal and will continue to fall back to normal regarding the student section where I will be able to count on one hound how many students are in the student section.
Chad needs to keep this wishy washy fanbase intact and excited. We all know how fair-weather most of these SMU fans are.

what is happening is that SMU can stay in games in which they can move the chains and keep the defense off the field, Its really that simple. SMU's defense was just about as bad against TCU and Baylor-and if we had had last year's offense they might have had 900 yards offense or until the score got out of hand and they called off the dogs

Chad will get improvement throughout the season and I believe we will see a couple of "complete" games before its all said and done. He will get this program turned around. Its our decision not to be wishy, washy cheese d*ks. Show up at home games, keep bringing all the family friends you can, be loud and stay until the end and those of us who can travel should do so...none of these games are far from Dallas and the one that is, Annapolis is an interesting trip. Hopefully the athletic department finds ways to keep the student body involved.

We lost our Super Bowl by 19 points (giving up 720 yards and 56 points in the process) and some people on here thought that we were going to steamroll our remaining opposition. Only on Ponyfans As for the fanbase, it'll be just family, friends and the 1500 for the rest of the season. There's nothing Morris can do about it at this point.

Since they don't really care, how about SMU just pay them to show up, maybe that would work? Maybe use some of the interest off that big endowment? Everyone says we have the $$$$$$$. Desperate times call for desperate measures!

What would you say is fair? Something like 50,000 a year just to stand there?

Probably take like $100 a head to get the apathetic students to the game. Maybe the same $100 a head to get the alumni off the blvd and into the stadium
