checking yesterday's attendance figures around the AAC, Temple lead the way with 35k, USF had slightly more than 27k, UCF had slightly under 27k and Tulsa had 17k. Temple and USF play in NFL stadiums so they were at less than 50% capacity. Among the G5 schools, only BYU draws the kind of crowds routinely seen at P5 games. I'm thankful for Ford Stadium and remain hopeful that SMU can at least become the next Boise State and by that I mean having a football program that generates 30k crowds no matter who we play and competes for conference championships and is a school that P5 teams fret about scheduling home/home.
