Haha, please come back and give us that report we're all waiting on, after you go visit 'Paul' on the Blvd.

Take a bunch of your friends along for verification/protection. :o

Well, everyone here thinks you're Paul Severt. You could clear all of this up by not being a coward and saying who your son is. Until you do, we will continue assuming you're Paul Severt because it's pretty obvious

Come visit the parents tailgate on the Blvd and start running your mouth. You're such a genius, ask around, bring your friends. Make sure you mention how terrible all the current players are, and how you'd like all their scholarships taken away. Make sure you've had a few so you have that drunk guy bravery as well.

Like I keep saying, report your experience back to the board. This is going to be classic. :D

Blah blah blah....We hear this rah rah crap, from some disgruntled mommy and daddy every year. The truth is, most of the people on this board, have supported the team with their ticket
purchases and donations for many years. We were here, before little junior was even thought of... and we'll be here, long after junior is a balding, middle aged, beat down, miserable son of a gun with a beer gut.

Not sure I said all the current players are "terrible," we definitely dont have the talent on the roster right now to compete but it is what it is. I do, however, remember you saying Colbert was bad, which is funny, considering he's 2nd string QB now and beat out your son

We'll be waiting, although it's a certainty you'll never show. Enjoy the rest of the season, I will.

Disgruntled? This year is fantastic, now that June is gone. Enjoy the games (if you're showing up), we certainly are.

Always gotta end with the name calling flourish! Thought that was just reserved for the drunk students and very recent alumni on the board? Obviously the balding, middle aged, beat down, miserable, beer gut aged alumni like yourself are acorns from the same tree.

Have a blessed day :D

I think it's interesting that footballdad wants to fight people in person, keeps posting such on these boards, and does so without so much as a moderator warning

Haha, I got my 'warning' just like everybody else. Is everything fair now ladies?

Wants to fight people in person? (did you just wet yourself?) I have never said such a thing.

The funny pizza guy swears he knows exactly who I am and keeps calling Mr. Severt out. I simply suggested if so, come on over to the parent tailgate (maybe I'm not even a parent, certainly not Mr. Severt), and start asking around for 'footballdad', or Pete, or whoever he has a beef with. Since I am not the person he suggests, he probably won't get beat up. For fun, I've asked that ECM please report back what kind of reception/looks he and his friends get? :D

As an extra credit activity, I suggested he talk his usual trash about the players to all the parents at the tailgate. If he gets beat up at that point it is not my fault. 8) The whole thing is farcical because nobody would ever show up in a million years. (and I may or may not be at said tailgate to begin with)

Move on to some other obsession, like finding a way to get people interested in an SMU football game.

God bless

Haha- It's pretty easy for you to clear Paul's name by saying who your son is...unless, of course, you are him and don't want to admit it on here, which given all of the idiotic things you've said would be understandable. Also, you've been a lot harder on current players on the team than I ever have been. I don't know what my "usual trash" about the players is referring to...they've won 2 games in the past two seasons so there's obviously some talent deficiencies?

You said Colbert looked terrible and Severt was the second coming of Garrett Gilbert...and now Colbert is 2nd on the depth chart and Severt isn't on it. So, in addition to being an [deleted], you apparently just spew BS with little to no basis in fact.

Do you even attend SMU games? If so, stop by the parent tailgate (announce yourself as the marble mouthed pizza guy) and quit denying and deflecting and wetting yourself. :P

Is Footballdad actually a parent of a varsity player? I may have him confused with someone else, but I thought that he is the guy who didn't like the youth camp June put on a couple of years ago. Thought his kid didn't get enough attention or something.

PonyUp & Peace Out

You obviously have an ax to grind with SMU...if you're pissed off about fan support then attacking people like me who have season tickets and bring friends to games and have posted on here thousands of times over the past ten years doesnt make a whole lot of sense. If more SMU alumni were as passionate about the athletics program as myself and others that you pick fights with on here, then there would be a lot less empty seats at Ford Stadium on Saturdays. I dont have an issue with any current players but when you've lost 16 of your last 18 games, criticism of on field performance is to be expected on a message board, and I'm one of the most optimistic people on here about the program (probably too optimistic). Honestly, this place is a lot tamer in that regard than many other schools' fan boards would be if their team had gone 1-11 last year and was 1-5 this year.

Also, saying that someone is "wetting themself" and challenging people to fights is what middle schoolers do. I dont know what's going on in your life that makes you need to come on a message board and antagonize supporters of a program that's giving your son a great education, but it says a lot about you
