Look at the offer list for this 2016 classThat is very telling about this class. Some on the board seem to be trying to deflect to the rceuiting ranking system when they have been against it for years even mocking it at times. This class has the best P5 offer ratio since the DP and beats any JJ class. And we all know what direction JJ's teams went after all of Bennett's players graduated. But please ignore all the JJ suck ups trying to downgrade the class by looking at stars per player instead of which players have P5 offers. This is how Coach Fran got TCU up and running by beating out BCS bottom feeders for players, not worrying about if a coach averages 2.41233444 stars per recruit vs the previous coach that averages 2.3111334 stars per recruit. Nothing against the star system but you have to look at offers the most as TCU did. We are not trying to get 30 under the radar players and just a few turn out good but the rest do not and the team ends up with depth problems. Or for every player from a foreign country that succeeds you have one that does not. JJ did not recruit like he should have. Coach Morris is recruiting very well and it will still take him about 3 classes to to challenge for an AAC title due to what he was left with imo. Best class with P5 offers we have had on 30 years is a good start imo.

Re: Look at the offer list for this 2016 classNobody is saying that this isn't a solid class, or that CM and staff are doing a poor job at recruiting.
Just not sure if the "best of all time" messaging is appropriate. Personally, I do take the recruiting rankings with a grain of salt, because I think the best coaches evaluate players better than the services. I also think that when you look at programs that allow the services to determine who the best players are (see Texas and Florida the last several years), those programs struggle. That said, that and offers are the only metrics available. So you almost have to go there. And the offers metric has only been done for a couple of years now. I know this is way too exhausting to do, but instead of looking at "P5" offers, it would be really interesting to look at offers from really good programs. Whether they are P5 or G5. Because if we can get a player who has offers from Memphis, Houston, and Boise, I would take that player in a heartbeat over someone with an offer from Kansas. The Noah Spears kid is a good example. The Houston offer is the most impressive on that list because I trust them over coach Bro.
