I doubt it-I don't see FBS speed on the videos I've seen. He's definitely not a 4.5 guy. Both OU and Tech rated him high as a LB prospect though. This is my concern about LB even into 2016 or 2017. The guys we project at LB Williams (plays mostly RB), Jordan Ward (plays a DE/OLB) and Bandejo who SMU projects at DE (but plays an OLB/DE in high school). We don't have a true inside LB in the mix. That is my biggest concern about the future of the program. I'm pretty satisfied where we are headed at most every other position. We are going to be much bigger and physical though in the heart of the defense. Its going to be a big change. I'm looking for answers at the 2 Inside LB positions and don't see them right now on our recruiting list. Noah Spears looks like one decent option

Just curious, who are the 'much bigger and physical guys in the heart of the defense' on the DL? We haven't recruited a single DL in the last 3 classes, all DE's. The only guy that might seem to qualify is Patrick Jones.

2014 Epley, 240lb DE, now 252 DE
2015 Biggurs, 245 DE, now 268 DL
2016 Badejo, 220 DE
2016 Gary, 245 DE, Virginia P5 offer
2016 Jones, 270 DE, still only LA Monroe & Toledo offers

Returning per roster:

Nabushosi, 253 Senior (to be)
Pruitt, 255 Sr.
Hollie, 337 Jr.
Minor, 283 Jr.
Gentry, 296 Jr.
Green, 293 Sr.

Dae Williams last week against B.T. Washington-popped the line on about 4 occasions-showed better speed than I thought he had but I feel sure he's going to be a LB

Stallion, I’m sure you are right about placement. I was being a bit factious about the twins. And, I’m determined not to question these coaches about positions. They obviously have a plan that is well in play. However, Prescott Line is the only power back we seem to be using and he’s a junior. I would imagine Morris is interested in anther power back. I still “factiously” wish we had commitments from the Williams twins.

Dae Williams provided almost the entirety of Sapulpa's offense with 117 yards on 27 carries including a 16 yard TD run. Sapulpa had 153 yards Total Offense in a loss to Charles Page 44-10

Dae Williams broke for 2 TD runs of 60 and 22 right up the gut of the Defense in a loss to Bixby 53-17. Kid is about all they got

SEASON STATS (6 Games-1 cancelled)

167 carries 1043 yards (6.2 ypc) 173.8 yards per game
4 catches 45 yards
13 TDs

Williams has 85% of Sapulpa's rushing yards, 58% of their total offense and has accounted for about 70% of their points on TDs alone

here are about 125 of Williams yards against Bartlesville-looks like he had a 25 yard catch too so he had about 200 yards Total Offense

should have 1211 yards on 203 carries in 7 games

Dae had a good game against Claremore in a 7-6 win-only their 2nd of year. I think he had about 230 yards on 37 carries (projecting from last week's stats). Looks like about 150 yards rushing from just a few highlites-also first time I've seen defensive highlites-3 great plays as a LB where he'll likely play at SMU (the very first play and at the end of video). A 10 yard sack and 2 Tackles for Loss

http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2479718/hig ... 6861989/v2

looks like he's 2nd in 6A rushing in Oklahoma if this correct and he's played 1 less game due to rainout

8 games 240 carries 1441 yards 16 TDs 6.0 per carry 180.1 per game

Don't have full stats but Dae Williams finished his high school career with 3 TDs including 72, 18 and 5 yard runs in a 30-28 loss to Ponca City. He had a great year on a terrible team. Probably over 1600 yards rushing

Pretty great highlites from his final game. In addition to his TDs mentioned above he had a great run when he hurdled a defender in stride, pivoted on next step, turned and took it to the house and in another laid out to make a great leaping catch. There's another 70 yards in rushing in addition to the 95 in TDs so he probably had a big nite. 200 in Total Offense in this video alone

http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2479718/hig ... 8772245/v2

OK found final stats-27 rushes for 232 yards and 3 TDs plus 2 receptions for 24 yards

We will need a big back to replace Line in the future. If not Williams perhaps Thomas. It would be nice to have one about 240ish with explosion, especially in the red zone. However, we need LBs more than a power back.
