I can see it only because the mom seems to have solid records...and because it looks like the assistant went to the SMU school of failing at cheating. Direct links to phones and bank accounts never work out well for the guilty!

You would think four years of stripper parties would cost more that $10K.

No. I don't imagine they were dancing at the better establishments in town.

I still can't believe that everyone believes a lady who pimped out her daughters over Pitino.

i think someone who pimps out her daughters has about the same credibility as Petino - given his history.

So what if he knocked up a girl at Applebee's and paid for her abortion. He is a stand up Catholic and no I didn't see him passing plays to his son in the NIT finals

What about the tweets, phone records, texts, testimony from participants, pictures, etc. Does any of that count?

And it does not matter if Petino knew or not. He is the head coach and has the buck stopped at his desk. Ask Larry Brown and the NCAA.

Digety - this is not a hearsay deal anymore. UL is pretty screwed to the wall on this one.

Pitino is a dead man walking. But,

1) I am not surprised about the parties or the "dancers." It happens. If fraternities (during my time on the Hilltop) could hire dancers for rush parties, I have no doubt that the basketball team couldn't find a way to have a similar party for recruits.

2) The only thing that I am skeptical about is the "professional" allegations. During the DP investigation, SMU was alleged to have hired"pros" for FB recruits. It turned out to be false. Why? We didn't need professionals to get players @@@@ in the early 1980's. In the 2010's? Really??

Pitino will survive this. Louisville will get a slap on the wrist at most.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Hofstra should be very worried. UL gets a slap on the wrist, then some poor P6 or worse school gets hammered.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Yes, absolutely all of that counts, and there is no doubt that something happened. To me, the real question is why is this woman coming forward with this now, why did she call the NCAA when she had nothing to gain by that and quite a bit to lose? She and her daughters are all publically admitting to criminal activity, they're putting their own necks on the line and risking jail time for no visible reward. It make me wonder what is happening behind everyones back, are they trying to extort money from Louisville, or possibly already taking "donations" from a rival schools bagmen? People dont go on TV and confess to a crime for no reason, these folks dont seem like the sharpest tacks on the board, but even stupid people need a motive before they do something like this.

As far as Pitino knowing about it, you're right that the head coach should always know whats going on. If he didnt know, he should have. Sometimes. though, the bagmen go around the head coach specifically to insulate him and give him plausible deniability. There are other reasons, sometimes the money guys dont want to argue with a coach over who to pay, or how much, or other details. Looking back in our own history, Bobby Collins genuinely didnt seem to know about alot of things, until after they happened. Once payments were made, he went along with it, but he was reactive more than proactive. I'm not making excuses for Pitino, he may end up out of college coaching, but sometimes the head coach is kept in the dark intentionally, so that he can honestly say he didnt know.
