Wilson was also the hero of the Aussies semi-final win against Spain. Down 4 with 30 seconds left Wilson made 2 steals and converted both for layups to force overtime and the Aussies won in OT. Harry Froling had 12 points against Spain, and 13 against the US in that tournament. Froling also recently made this list http://www.foxsports.com.au/basketball/ ... 7551036244 on Fox Sports. He took his first official visit to Wake Forest.

Isn't Jay Duncan from Australia?

Have to think that somehow factored into the relationship with this staff...

Jay also coached the Global Sports Academy US team this summer.

I believe this is a very significant commitment for the program. Wilson is legit, and this signals the staff and recruits are moving past the sanctions and continuing to build for the future. Also, the fact that McDowell remained committed is a great sign. McDowell had several major options, including USC & Arizona St. I think we are in good shape.
