Bad muff at the worst time. Happens. He'll bounce back and have a few great catches before the season is over, hopefully against the Giants and Eagles.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

0 catches and 7 yards returning punts plus the fumble. Not his best day for sure

Just like Weeden, Cassel focuses on one receiver that he probably calls in the huddle. He doesnt look around the field. There were numerous times were Beasley was open and he and threw it to a guy that was at the line of scrimmage. Both Weeden and Cassel are (IMO) worthless QBs and the old man GM laid an egg on that.

Cole had a rough day, but he's solid for the Cowboys. Plus he's an SMU grad, which means he has my support regardless. Definitely looked like he was trying to make something happen on the return, and just got ahead of himself. I agree that it would have had to be a big return b/c I don't see Cassel marching the team down the field in a minute and a half.

BTW, what about the pass that bounced off Cole's helmet. . .was that on Cole or Cassel? I couldn't really tell. Looked like they were definitely not on the same page.

It's on Cole but he was trying to get out of the way so the next receiver had a chance at it I think.

Unbelievable that you would talk smack about Beaz who is a former SMU teammate. Eric Dickerson didn't say good things about our school, you want to to tell him to go eff himself as well?

He made a bad play, it happens but he didn't cost us the game. As for the pass that hit him in the head, that was a bad read by the QB. The OLB sat down so Beaz was going to the "next window." QB should have shuffled his feet then threw to that spot or check off of Beaz altogether and go to his next read.

[deleted] happens, I'm not mad at Bease for the punt. What astounds me is that both him and his wife are so irascible on social media. Come on guys, you're famous. That yummy $8 million deal comes with having to deal with trolls and critics.

Haha. . .oh yes, there are certainly people on here who have said as much about Dickerson, as unbelievable as that might sound. Craig James too has come in for some heat on PFs. I think the only one who is off-limits and totally untouchable by this peanut gallery is Lance McIlhenny. I don't remember anyone ever dogging him.

I dont think anyone was talking smack. Most were saying he screwed up and it happens. Factually accurate and extremely level headed for a message board

Yes, Doak is off-limits too. So is Kyle Rote.

I was referring to the comments that I've seen on here about Eric Dickerson from time to time. . .usually after he has expressed frustration with SMU. I actually agree that the discussion in this thread about Beaz is pretty mild.

It's weird because Dickerson is only echoing the fanbase at times. He'd fit right in with what's said here. However, because of his statute in the program him saying it is as good as being looked as a traitor or something.
