I didn't know that about midterms and sounds like good news. According to the academic support staff Keith is currently eligible but that is unlikely to last.

I am not on the inside but if people in the academic support staff are talking to anyone but coaches, who I doubt will talk, they need to be fired.

They can't discuss anything beyond the current situation. It's a FERPA violation to say "his grades are good right now." That's why it wasn't said,

They have their work cut out keeping kids eligible academically. The problem starts so early in these kids lives where they are allowed to skate by because of athletic prowess. It's one of he many failures of the US education system. I had athletes in my classes who were barely literate. Shouldn't be that way.
