"but I, along with the thousands of other fans who quit coming to games"

Do you come to games or not?

If you have high standards for the program you should be excited for where we are going.

If you are going to be honest do not say you do not go to the games and then say you do. Your troll card shows when you do that. Just a helpful hint.

Don't intentioally take his words out of context. It was very obvious what he was saying

No, I think he just contradicted himself.

You are a complete idiot.

The plan to hire Morris was in place over a year before it happened. AD was hamstrung by our Illuminati donors who didn't want to foot the bill for June's enormous buyout and then go out and spend another $10M on the next coach.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Take out the word others and it makes perfect sense. Much more likely that he mispoke in this way than that he is just blatantly pulling contradictory stuff put of his [deleted].

Others is used to imply that a large camp of people other than himself are skeptical about the future of the program. They don't come to games. He did not include himself in that claim.

So you have the ability to take a plain and simply worded statement and say the man has no knowledge of proper grammar and misspoke. Wow, you are good.

The Baylor, A&M, and tech games were put in place when freaking Phil Bennet was coach. You don't just make the schedule up a year in advance.

What an awful troll job,

No. I have the ability to judge the meaning of the sentence by the context of the sentences before and after it and then can conclude that his message was not what was intended.

I didn't say he has no knowledge of proper grammar. But I guess while you're putting words in people's mouths you might as well keep it up, right?

I simply read what he said. If I want to make things up I will just say apparently you and Johnny are the same person since you know what he means rather than what he says.

JohnnyRock wrote:Blame goes to the Athletic Director and President Turner for this mess.....again. You can fault June for his lack of recruiting for several seasons and quitting on the team but the Administration did not have a back up plan in place when June tried to leave so we got stuck with him. The schedule has been very difficult too and way too difficult for our talent level - thanks AD. SMU is by far the smallest team on the field against everyone we play (and it is not even close). The attendance is awful and embarrassing but the alumni and students are expressing their voice by not showing up to games.

'By far the smallest team...everyone we play....not even close'. Please, there was ZERO discernible difference between the 'size' of our guys and the Tulsa players last week.

when the new staff was hired I was eavesdropping on an assistant coach at a restaurant and I heard him say [deleted] over half the team shouldn't even be playing college football

Great pre-emptive excuse that comes in handy now that he's 1-7. Fantastic way to deflect any and all fault from himself.

Even if true, of course any bottom feeding AAC teams have to upgrade talent. Complain about talent and athleticism all you want, size is a faux argument.
