History may repeat itself....

Postby Donnell88 » Thu Nov 05, 2015 9:11 pm

In 2005, TCU played their first two games on the road. In their opener, they upset #7 Oklahoma
17-10. The following week, flush with victory, they suffered a shocking 21-10 loss to SMU.
It was a classic trap game.

Temple has a very good team, as they showed on national TV against Notre Dame. But it had to be a heartbreaking loss and now they travel to Dallas, where they will be heavily favored. Will SMU pull off the upset?

My empty prediction (ie, I"m not betting a lot of money on this) is that will Temple will come out flat, SMU will have a 21-7 halftime lead and barely hang on for a 31-28 win.

Just sayin'....

Shhhhh, you'll get vilified and thought of as a bad fan if you mention attendance, or God forbid student attendance on here.

Attendance and students....the response on these topics seem to have mellowed. I haven't seen a good thread bashing the band in a while though...wondering if the targeted terminations with extreme prejudice had that good an effect?!?

If the damn band was better and had more people and sat in a different place and did other things...we would have beaten Baylor and TCU. It's all their fault!!!

Harumph!!!
