Hoping someone on the board can help me out. I just listed this SMU sweatshirt on eBay but am unsure of the year it was made. I got this in 1989 from someone that had previously attended SMU, but I'm not sure when. I'm guessing early 80s, but does anyone know for sure? Thanks!

Re: SMU Sweatshirt
If that's black I doubt its vintage-schools didn't pick and choose colors back then. Ron Meyer used to wear something like that though

No, it's not black. It's a dark grey, almost charcoal. I've had it since '89 and was just curious if anyone could ID the year.

Re: SMU Sweatshirt
here's the similar sweatshirt that Ron Meyer wore-but again they never wore charcoal at any time that I remember at least during games. A little different-2 blue rings around neck but similiar

Are we sure it is Southern Methodist and not another SMU? I do not recall charcoal or black until fairly recently.
