Music ObservationSeems like most of the time when a timeout was called especially when the visiting team called timeout that the band played instead of the DJ playing music. It really killed the enthusiasm. I hope that changes especially with Yale and Michigan coming to Moody. Just an observation.

Re: Music ObservationOh my god, I'm getting the biggest feeling of deja vu.
Re: Music ObservationMemo to rebel it is college basketball, not pro.
Re: Music ObservationIt took 60 minutes for our first game presentation complaint thread. That's a big improvement.
Re: Music Observation
Memo ti youit has never been this lopsided since the new Moody has been open. #HammerDown
Re: Music Observation
I agree. Maybe it was because it was the first game or something but it really killed the enthusiasm of the crowd when the band played. Last edited by Rebel10 on Sun Nov 15, 2015 7:30 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: Music ObservationAs long as Shake and Jarrey are suiting up for us they can play country music for all I care. But please don't play country...

Re: Music ObservationI just hope it gets back like it was when Moody first opened. That was the best.

Re: Music Observation[quote="PonySnob"]More DJ - less band
I must be way out of touch with some of you cool dudes - but I actually prefer the band and the use of students to play their instruments. I have always been a fan of the Mustang Band and I think it is a shame that they are relegated to sitting on their instruments instead of playing them. Let the piling on begin. I can take it.
Re: Music ObservationIt didn't match conference play of the first year... but I thought the game presentation including music was miles ahead of where it was for non-conference last season.
On a side note, I love the limit of the number of timeouts. Less breaks in the action. The flow of the game was much better than it was most of last year, when the other team would call timeouts every 2 minutes to kill momentum. Last year during breaks it seemed like it was a long, sponsor driven activity followed by the band. This year, the band didn't play at all during the first two breaks, it was all DJ. I didn't track it after that point, but the band played more often in the second half when it was a blowout. I thought it was an improvement over the first game of last season.
Re: Music ObservationHow about the scintillating player intro video? First year was awesome and then dud. This one is going to wear thin after the 3rd viewing.
