Stanford never even threatened to win this game. We would have beat them by 25 at Moody. I stated in another thread that I was looking for payback for the 35 point drubbing Stanford handed us at Maples in 1998. Last night fit the bill nicely. The superior team prevailed . . . And it wasn't even that close.

Just watched the game. This team is really impressive. When Semi gets to play, it is going to be really strong. His presence will help with inside defense and rebounding. It was really disgusting to hear the announcers talk about MK deleting LB's number from his phone so he wouldn't call him these 9 weeks. I did like hearing them talk about how Nic never considered leaving, since he helped recruit these young players. Having someone like Nic as a representative for the team in the future is huge.

You're kidding right? They brought up the NCAA sanctions at least 10 times. It was sooooo nauseating to hear.

Not to mention Doris annoys me almost as much as listening to Bob Knight ramble on like the crazy old gas bag he is.

Every telecast is going to bring up the sanctions. They did it without being obnoxious and dancing on our grave.
And Doris is a very good analyst (she's not just there as a token woman commentator) and seems to like watching SMU play. The play by play guy knew his stuff too. They had their .com bball reporter as the sideline guy.
Guess we'll just agree to disagree.

They did bring up the sanctions a little too much but I'm sure that wasn't their choice. If you don't think Doris does a good job, I'm not sure what you're looking for...she is really knowledgable and a quality announcer.

Watch on a delay in sync (not *NSYNC) with the radio broadcast. I like the SMU bias in my play-by-play... that, or hit the mute and do-your-own play-by-play.
