I'm on your side, man. Just pointing out that he was highly regarded.

oh i know..i wasnt attacking you just making an observation....i just couldnt believe that kid was so highly rated and talked about....it was like putting a freshman high school kid in with a college team....just shows you college is diffrent world...just cause your good in high school doesnt mean squat if you cant adjust the the speed and intensity of college

I agree with you on this one - it is amazing that he even got into school - I sense a little "Malin Magic" on the test scores. As you must have been class of '01 - whatever happened to Malin?

I answered my own questions with a quick yahoo search. Malin is a scout for the NY Giants:

http://www.giants.com/team/front_office.asp

When you search the name Malin on Yahoo - you end up with about 15 search results that have to do with academic fraud - I am serious.

Also - when you search for Marcus Mosley - you end up with the following:

http://lionathletics.collegesports.com/ ... cus00.html

He is still playing College Football at Texas A&M Commerce. Played in the 2005 season this fall.

2004: Played in last seven games for the Lions with three starts ... racked up 28 total tackles, 13 solo ... tallied 10 tackles with 1.5 sacks and 2.5 tackles for losses against Angelo State ... totaled 5.0 tackles for losses for 29 yards in losses, third on the team ... tied for team lead in sacks with 3.5 and the most yardage lost at 23.

1999-2003: Did not play football.

1998: Redshirted at Southern Methodist University.

High School: An All-State performer at South Oak Cliff High ... named as a Blue Chip High School All-American ... The Dallas Morning News 1997 Defensive Player of the Year ... tallied 41 sacks and nine interceptions at SOC for coach J.B. Wallace ... recorded 24 tackles against Hillcrest High .

Misc: Health major ... born 3-12-79 ... son of Billy Ray Mosley and Rosetta Wysingle of Dallas.
