Bet Chad's unhappy with the administration dragging its feet on promises it made to upgrade the facilities and construct the IPF. Tech just recently completed one of the largest IPFs in the entire nation. Wouldn't blame Chad for bailing on an administration that isn't committed to winning at the highest levels.

While I don't think Chad will leave after 1 year-if you think that he couldn't easily get a P5 job just because he's 2-9-you're wrong. There are a lot of ADs around this Country who've done their homework and know that he checks off just about everything you want in a Head Coach. His reputation for hard work, recruiting and offensive performance are well established even in 10 months at SMU. He was a homerun hire last year and that's doesn't change just because he is diggin' out of a huge hole
