SemiGotta a question for everyone who is smarter than me, which is pretty much everyone on the board. How do you think we will use Semi? Will we go to three forwards to start? Would he start in place of MK who then moves to 6th man where he did so well last year? We he be the first big sub? There are lots of options with him.
Re: SemiMy poorly-educated guess is that Semi comes off the bench. I don't really see the starting 5 changing a whole lot unless there becomes some dramatic need to do so. Semi could actually have a helluva year as a 6th man the way MK did last year, and it gives him the ability to get into real game rhythm.

GO MUSTANGS!!!!
Re: SemiMy SEMI-edjumacated guess: Ben Moore's starting job is Ben's to keep or lose to Semi. Given MK's propensity to foul i don't see Jordan and Markus starting together. One starts and the other comes off the bench. If neither has foul issues thet get some burn togather when the situation calls for it. That leaves Ben and Semi to "share" the other spot. Ben starts until a) he stinks up the place. b) ben gets injured or c) Semi is the second coming of Lebron James.
My two cents. Party at The Wopper!
Re: Semi
I like your two cents. Semi will be 6th man off bench and come in for Ben or Keith. Markus is so aggressive I would be surprised if he is able to stay away from fouling in the first 7 or 8 minutes - so Tolbert should see quite a bit of action.
Re: SemiDo you all realize that Keith played 38 minutes against Yale? I find that astounding. At least 10 of those have to be Semi's.

Re: SemiIf he's as good as advertised we are going to be pretty salty by AAC time

Re: SemiNic - Sed
Keith - Shake Brown - Foster Ben - Semi MK - Tolbert Keith/Shake get extra minutes that Sed isn't ready for. Semi will play the 4 with Ben, even more on the perimeter than Ben. That player has to be able to hit a jumper at the top of the key, pass well, and rebound. If he rebounds well, he will get into the starting lineup. If Ben plays as well as he did the first two games of the season, Semi will eat more into Foster's minutes.
Re: Semi
Agreed. That is a sick rotation. Holy cow. And the only question marks in that list are can Sed play a suitable back up PG and is Semi as good as advertised?
Re: Semiand if he can't we got about 2-3 guys that could play a back up PG. This roster is very versatile-mix and match about 30 combinations with 10 players

Re: Semi
If you look at that second unit as a whole it's basically three frosh, a soph and a senior. Add the signees and two big and we are set for awhile regardless of scholarship limits. Party at The Wopper!

Re: SemiOne other thing...what kind of game does Semi play? Is he a bruiser which will come in handy against a team like Cinci? Or is he more of an outside big guy?
