I don't see how any SMU fan could like Baylor, given that they got a free ticket to the Big 12 among other things. I mean, their president is Ken Starr, for God's sake.

Even if I don't like them, I at least respect TCU for earning their way in.

Baylor continued to throw deep balls into the rain-caused glare of the stadium lights until the 4th Q and at one point had more punts than receptions; meanwhile their D pretty much contained Boykin. Baylor got what they deserved. I guess when you are a hammer, all you see are nails. Had they practiced handoffs more and been more committed to the run, Baylor would have won in regular time.

Baylor has run the ball well all year-the weather favored Baylor as they are the more versatile offense with bigger backs. But TCU Defense rose to the occasion. This season is one of the greatest coaching jobs in Gary Patterson's career. They played 30 freshman-we played 23. They had 20 season ending injuries. They returned almost no starters on defense and several that did return missed several games. They played about their 6 and 7th LBs on defense. This team had no business winning 10 games especially when Doctson got hurt and Boykin was hobbled. Gary Patterson is the greatest Defensive Coach of this era. He has changed College defensive theory more than any coach in America

I was bored so I went to the UNT site. They are saying our next game with them is the last per our contract and that our schools are to begin discussing extending the contract. I thought we had an 8 year contract. They are the only non P5 to bring 7,000 fans to our stadium

So was it a 2 for 1 deal? And thank God we won't play them every year. Rotate them with other Texas fbs teams.
