He needs no justification to cut scrubs. They should be thanking him for allowing them one more season to masquerade as FBS players.

At least the players are putting in equal work for equal pay, whether they are D1 or D3. Looks like the coaching staff just took the entire week off to prepare for Thanksgiving, the hell with the game plans or motivating the players.

The always positive/build em up approach. Hmm. Nick Saban gets in their headgear and reads them the effing riot act. Nick would have passed out panties to players and coaches today. A lot of folks that wanted nothing to do with hitting anything other than a drive thru today. Am I saying we have some that don't like the physical nature of college football...yep, absolute puxxies that want none of that. That was just embarrassing. If you're afraid of contact there's always rowing, equestrian and chess.

Yeah it looks like everyone (coaches included) thought Tulane was the finale. No one was interested in playing that game today, really bizarre to see.

Sure, no problem. Right after Morris and Malone admit they had also cashed it in, were ill-prepared, and donate their game checks to a worthwhile local charity.
Will you cash it in and troll another team's board? It's amazing how you come across as the same obnoxious jerk from where I'm watching nine hours away over the Atlantic as in Dallas.

Funny stuff in there, but truth.

Performance yesterday was inexcusable at every level. Players and coaches both should be held accountable. We played with zero energy, zero fight, and didn't even remotely look like we wanted to compete. To his credit Morris did say in the post game that the effort was "embarrassing" and that it fell on him and the staff.
If we are all honest here there are quite a few upperclassmen that are more than happy to ride out their four years here in order to get an SMU education. Also, several of these kids have nowhere else to go as they didn't even get an offer out of HS at the D1AA or D2 level. Defensively, we could replace every starter except maybe Lawler with a squad full of redshirt and true freshmen and see improvement.
Yesterday was very reminiscent of 2014 and so many games from 2000-2008 where we just looked like we would rather be anywhere else but on a football field. Everyone associated with the program should feel ashamed of what happened. If we see another performance like that then Morris better be prepared to start making drastic changes with both players and staff. Disgusting to even call what we saw yesterday "effort".
Back off Warchild seriously.

On the bright side, the players and coaches have 9 months to stew on an epic failure.

Players didn't want to be there and that's on them and the coaching staff. Morris needs to clean house as soon a he can get one more recruiting class in.

First Bottom Line: Everyone needs to ignore a fool that's name ends in Dad. He is a troll of "TigerDroppings" caliber. Ignore him, please.
Second Bottom Line: Our team is our team. Yes, we have a lot work to do, and everyone sucked yesterday from Chad to the waster boys - they are ALL to blame. It was embarrassing.
But, as Digetydog pointed out hopefully this loss will smart for the next nine months and they will learn from it. Chad has to cut players, they simply do not deserved to wear the Pony. End of paragraph, period.

None of the players wore a pony yesterday.

Calling me a troll doesn't distract from the truth, which many here have acknowledged. Wonder how the $ guys who pay the staff salaries feel about their performance this week? You can be sure they expected more from their investment! Would love to hear those conversations.

Totally agree, absolute disgrace to SMU... for EVERYONE involved in that steaming pile.
