I doubt he's a recruiting coach-maybe but I doubt it. Probably part of the staff-otherwise there would be a press release. Everybody calls each other Coach at Moody, Actually the title to thread says Coach but tweet says "welcome to newest member of the SMU Basketball family"

Not that he would actively recruit but he has connections to Euro players for the staff. Other staffs do this as well.
