I might eat there again if I was absolutely starving. Grew up with Goff's and loved it. That place on Hillcrest is a horrible burger joint. Wasted real estate.

Perfect since I work in Galleria Towers. I know where I'm going to lunch tomorrow -may need to get haircut first. The Burger Nazi. Does he take credit cards now?

BTW they had a Goff's in that Shopping Center as of about 2 years ago but it closed

I went to Harvey's today

Don't think they have everything ironed out

Harvey was cooking-burning buns he had to throw out-they lost orders, burger guy was looking at numbered sheet showing him how to make a No. 5 (example), line was getting pretty long with only moderate customers, bus-boy threw out drink while customer was in bathroom-heard they ran out of some pie flavors by noon, new fries are not near as good. Harvey should have thrown out my bun too which was somewhat burned.

food was average-better than fast food- but after hundreds of times at Goff's I expected more

Wasn't impressed. $5 for plain burger. Fries okay. Ambiance/vibe worse than new Goffs on Hillcrest by a mile.

Tried Goff's. Wanted to like it, but didn't happen.

Twisted Root is better and it doesn't feel like I'm walking into a Chile's/McDonalds.

Chilly's stinks.

Twisted Root is a whole different category than Harvey's. I'd expect food like Harvey's at a poolside bar.
