For those not in attendance, a fun moment after the game - a few TCU players were clearly talking noise in the handshake line and the teams seemed to have no love lost. As TCU's band fired up their alma mater and their players stood in front of the band, the SMU fans in attendance started a long and loud SMU chant. SMU players came running back from in the tunnel to party with the SMU fans. When TCU's alma mater ended both teams walked towards the tunnels together with coaches from both sides keeping their players back as they were jawing at each other.
Would have been awesome to have that moment in their new arena. Can't wait to catch these losers in Moody next year

Yes, the basketball crowd was nice. Football was embarrassing this year.

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed when the players just started walking off without even motioning towards us (minus whomever they were trying to get down on the court). Definitely changed when our boys turned around during their Alma Mater. Great great time last night, despite not playing the best.

Win more than three games in two years. Basketball has a product that is fun, engaging, and wins. Football is just starting this process now.
Back off Warchild seriously.

SMU fans were complimented by TV announcers for having brought a large number, and for being loud and full of energy. In sports. So, really, anything is possible.

I see why you would write that, but for basketball it isn't the first time. Before the officiating debacle at the end sucked up all oxygen, the SMU crowd in Louisville was getting attention during the UCLA game for being large and LOUD. I recall it being noted on the Duke board. And MSG was rocking for the NIT semis and finals too.
