
LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION... UT ARLINGTON COMMUNITY INVITED TO STAR IN PROMOTIONAL VIDEO
UT Arlington students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to flaunt their Maverick pride Friday through Sunday by participating in a video taping of "Maverick Manifesto," a promotional video designed to spotlight the new university branding campaign set to debut in February 2006. Participants are encouraged to bring smiles and wear jeans, slacks, dress shirts and school items and clothing with non-collegiate logos --UT Arlington shirts without logos are OK. The narrative video will feature a student’s journey from high school to UT Arlington and "seeks to redefine ‘Mavericks’ as independent thinkers who blaze their own trail. We want to see a crowd of alumni, student leaders and faculty/staff," said Lynn Handley, vice president of communications. The promotional video will presented Feb. 15, 2006, at the brand launch.
