I was thinking of Jacksonville. I knew it was someone with a $20 bill as a mascot.

Jackson State beat us 59-58 in December 2011. Looking for any other games against them

It was the "inaugural" Dallas Classic played at Ellis Davis Fieldhouse. I put inaugural in quotes as I'm pretty sure it was the only Dallas Classic

ESPN2 with an 8pm tip. Michigan has really good outside shooters and I'm sure they are still [deleted] about us coming into their house last year and winning. Tuesday night should be a blast.

Enjoy it LA, wish I was there.

As much as I loved the Pony Express, nothing beat going to a sold-out Moody.

Most memorable game I recall was against Phi Slama Jama. Coogs had 2 of the Top 50 players in the history of the NBA in Clyde Drexler and Akeem the Dream. Also has another 1st round NBA player in Michael Young. SMU had Jon Kontract, Larry Davis, Butch Moore and Carl Lewis, whom Al McGuire called the most 'athletic' player in college basketball. Game was decided in final minute when Clyde took off from the free-throw line with a circus dunk. I was literally 2 feet from the Cougar bench.

SMU ended up losing by 1 point to #1 Georgetown in the NCAA tourney.

Coogs lost to NC State in the NC game.

Can't imagine a better game in Moody history.
