He was at the game and shared his thoughts:

- In Moody Coliseum for SMU vs Michigan. Should be a fun one. High on LeVert. First look at Moritz Wagner.

- Looking forward to seeing Kennedy, Moore, & Frazier. FR guard Shake Milton a youngster to track: 6-5, 7-foot wingspan. Has been solid early.

- I feel a strong connection with any arena that uses the old DX Video music as an intro song. Well played Moody Coliseum.

- SMU doing a really nice job on LeVert early. Contested jumpers and a wild shot in the paint. Still scoreless.

- SMU has been outstanding defensively so far. Keith Frazier putting the clamps on LeVert, who's still scoreless. Turning stops into points.

- Good 1st impression of Shake Milton. Super long, covers ground on closeouts, tuned in off the ball. Can shoot + handle a little at 6-5.

- SMU 6-5 FR wing Jarrey Foster passes the eye test for the Mustangs. Long, wide frame, defends, active on the glass. Nice young guard duo.

- SMU 6-7 senior big Jordan Tolbert has been manhandling Michigan's bigs with Kennedy out. 17 PTS & 6 boards (4 offensive). Super active.

- Keith Frazier is a bit wild but he's done some nice things on both ends. Locking up LeVert (still scoreless) & 2-3 from 3. Emotional player.

- This SMU team is fun. Really competitive defensively. Sharing the rock. Several shot makers. Manhandling Michigan without Kennedy.

- Very impressed w/ Ben Moore's feel for the game. Really nice basketball instincts as a 6-8 four. Does a lot of little things well. Glue guy.

- Really forgettable game for Caris LeVert: 0-for-11 with two points. SMU has done a really nice job on him but he's also missing open looks

- Really impressive game by SMU. Dunks galore for Tolbert. Thought Frazier & Nic Moore had some nice moments. Ben Moore 10 REB, 5 AST, 3 BLKs.

- like SMU's backcourt of the future with Shake Milton & Foster. Milton w/ nice vision + tools, solid stroke. Foster tough, solid athlete.

- Tough night for Caris LeVert. Missed a lot of open looks (0-6 from 3) but also struggled w/ physicality. Looked like Arizona game last year.
