Yes, we would. Wilson said in an interview that the sanctions did not bother him because he was a big Iverson fan and wanted to be coached by LB.

Please link to the quote where he said he would have come here even if we had a post season ban for next year.

Just because he said he was excited to be coached by LB because he was an Iverson fan does not necessarily mean that trumped all other factors in his decision process.

The pain and story will be very real, but we'll be alive and well as a program come May and the pain will ease.

You can't recruit if you appeal. We're about to dominate the Spring signing period for available bigs and return our jr class, who may not be as lauded as Nic/markus, but are 4 yr kids. Be steely-eyed, show resolve and don't succumb to the emotion of the moment. Our guys didn't leave, nobody quit, and they're on a mission. 10 days after our last game, 95% of the country will be done playing. As sucky as those 10 days will be, we're still gonna be a big dog for years to come

Yup. Pop quiz- what's a better recruiting story and what's better for the program?

27-2/26-3 and a top ten finish wrongly deprived on an NCAA bid?

Round of 32 exit due to the randomness of post-season play. Oh, but you might lose one or more of the current freshman and next year's recruits.

The sanctions don't bother them because they don't affect them. That's the point.

Embrace the storyline of us on the eff the world tour and ending the year with an awesome record and back to back conference title. It's the ultimate revenge and we look great rolling into next year with the chains off.

Sounds like you fully expect 2 of either Bruno, Froling, or Kapita...

Not on the wrong side. He said it as confirmed by another poster.

I hope we do because if we don't get 2 or the 3 or 4 we are going after we will be scrambling for bigs like we were last year.

He never said that. He said he was excited about competing for a national championship, which cannot be done with a post-season ban. If anything, he implies much the opposite.

Agree we need to sign 2 or 3. His post just seemed very confident... and he usually knows more about what is going on than most

Rebel10, it sounds like mustangxc is saying you are lying. I choose to take Rebel10 at his word so I look forward to Rebel10 posting a link to the quote from Wilson saying what Rebel10 says Wilson said.

Personally, the only quotes I have seen are consistent with what mustangxc said, but I know Rebel10 would not lie so I expect he will post that link soon to defend himself against mustangxc's accusation.

How do you know 100% that he would not have decommitted?
