Jordan Tolbert game MVPHe really came in after a bad injury to MK and played high level basketball. He probably would be starting at any other school. Way to go Jordan.

Re: Jordan Tolbert game MVP
Couldn't agree more and Tolbert is a beast!
Re: Jordan Tolbert game MVPHe's certainly the mvp. Great game.
Tolberts had some timely buckets this year, but none more so then when Markus went down for the game injured. Very proud of him, fun to be a pony fan.
Re: Jordan Tolbert game MVPwonder what this would have been with MK in the full game? 30 point game?
Re: Jordan Tolbert game MVPThe points were awesome... but he also KNEW what the team needed when Markus went down. Zero fouls.
Spectacular game. Stallion doesn't think I'm a stinkin' genius anymore.
Re: Jordan Tolbert game MVPHe did a great job all around being agressive on both ends of the court without fouling. I liked that the refs let us play a bit more than some recent games (see TCU) and that allowed us to be more agressive on D. Whole team effort was great...awesome job by the guys and staff.

Re: Jordan Tolbert game MVPhe plays a lot bigger than 6'7" IMO. someone threw out a Karl Malone comparison. I think that's a good one. Wide body. Can move people.
Derail the Frogs!
Re: Jordan Tolbert game MVPTolbert has been THE difference maker on this team and I sure wish we had more than one year to enjoy. I think we did the right thing by taking our medicine this year, but this team would have made some serious noise in the tournament and Tolbert is the main reason.
Re: Jordan Tolbert game MVP
What I got most out of that is, man Nic Moore is a great PG
Re: Jordan Tolbert game MVPWas in Moody/Crum last night. The men's team was not practicing (exams), but Tolbert (who has different education requirements in grad school) was working the free throw line with a buddy when I went through.
It was great to see him working on whatever he could do while others are studying (I hope they are studying). "This is . . . dedication to distraction by fans. Is that what I'm going to go with Jay?"

Re: Jordan Tolbert game MVP
Your post made me remember one that I made before the season began. I don't normally try to say what a great evaluator of talent I am because I have been wrong before. But - I got lucky with my forecast for Jordan. Re: Building the Program Postby The Falcon » Tue Jul 14, 2015 10:58 pm I am excited about Jordan Tolbert. I think he will become one of our stars this year. I have watched him shoot around prior to SMU home games and the young man can score. In fact - he led Tech in scoring and rebounding as a freshman and in his Jr. year, he was 2nd on Tech in both scoring and rebounding. Along with Kennedy, he will be a rebounding machine. He is very active and rugged for a 6' 7" forward. Actually, I am excited about the whole team. This will be a very good year, and that is saying something in that '14/15 and 13/14 were outstanding. I can hardly wait to see Moody rock n roll this year.
