Damn, another option team to deal with every season.

He doesn't run the option at every school and neither will Tulane

How do you know what he'll do at Tulane? Why wouldn't he, after watching Navy run it with a ton of success in the AAC?

The Eagles lead FBS in rushing for the second straight year. Fritz runs a power run option scheme at Georgia Southern but has vast experience in running various kinds of offense.

“They have the ability to become more of a passing team,” said a source close to Fritz. “Part of Willie's thought process was they had so much success with option football, why go away and make a drastic change? I think he has the ability to go to more of a spread attack.”

Tulane doesn't have the players to run any type of offense.

The times I saw Georgia Southern they ran a spread option similar to ours but he did throw the ball a good bit at Sam Houston State. I think he will adjust the offense to the players he has and will recruit to the type of offense he wants. Good hire imo.
